As a true rose lover, I love the roses even after the petals fallen off. Many people might say that the rose is off and it’s time to throw it away. But for me the rose isn’t off, it just went into a new phase. Sometimes I use roses and other flowers like gerbera and sunflowers without petals! It’s a perfect way to add details and texture to the bouquet or arrangements. I also like the idea that you use the whole life circle of the roses – bud, blossoming flower and then let’s say the past flowering phase.

In this bouquet I used the white rose “Anastasia”, the dark pink rose “Hansa”, chives, Queen Anne’s Lace, columbine and peony leaves.
